HOLD THE PLANE! UNITED AIRLINES TESTING NEW SOFTWARE TO HELP TRAVELERS AVOID MISSING THEIR CONNECTING FLIGHTS

Airlines are very strict when it comes to shutting that door. Many of us have likely had first hand experience just missing a flight or finding it sitting at the gate but unable to board. This is due to the D-0 metric that the industry monitors to evaluate airlines.  

United is attempting to change the game and is looking into new ways to assist travelers by implementing "Dynamic D-0" that takes into account different factors to determine the flexibility of the departure time. They are currently testing out the "Dynamic D-0" at Denver's Hub. More
