Short's Travel Management has invested in its system this year.
It plans to bring on branded fares, making use of GDS content, and more in-flight amenity information this year. "Whatever the airlines are selling on their dot-com site, we need to make sure we have that same content," said Short's Travel Management CEO David LeCompte.
Short's Travel recently incorporated QPX airline-shopping technology from Google-owned ITA Software in order to expand flight options and add speed to search times. It also has incorporated Booking.com hotel content and launched a mobile Web version of its booking system. More
